So one of our first progressions for our push ups are the Spiderman Push ups.
Not too complicated, but it will add more core activation and require a better understanding of the body to coordinate moving different limbs at once.
In this variant as you lower your body, you want to bring one of your knees to your elbow, and alternate every rep.
Some Things to Watch For:
- Make sure you are bracing your core and activating your glutes so that your back is not falling
- Do not allow your hips to completely open up, try to maintain posture through the entirety of the movement
